I heard this from the chap that the UK Government appointed to increase the public understanding of statistics (whose name I can’t remember)
There are more carcinogens in a cup of coffee than you will get from the pesticide residues in all the food you eat in a year.
It is no surprise to me as I have never thought much of organic food and avoid it as much as I can. To me it is a poorer quality option at an inflated price. I went to agricultural college, so I do have an understanding of the issue.
It always amazes me how people worry about things that are very unlikely to happen, but are out of their control, but ignore imminent dangers that are within their control.
Did you hear about the health freak who only ate organic food but got to work in the city centre by bicycle?
